Update - Proposed Itinerary
Happy Sunday Brinks Fam! This is our proposed itinerary for the reunion. Our intention was to begin the week with less strenuous activity as we acclimate to the higher altitude, saving more physically demanding actvities (such as hiking) for the end of the week. We are also clustering the main group activites over the weekend, hopefully capturing our largest attendance over those days.
We invite you to take some time to expore the Ouray KOA Website https://koa.com/campgrounds/ouray/ and consider which type of accomodations will best fit your needs for the the reuinion. There are also plenty of other options (hotels, bed & breakfasts, VRBO, etc.) available in Ouray and the surrounding area. The Visit Ouray website https://www.visitouray.com/ is a great place to begin your exploration if you don’t want to stay at the KOA. Keep in mind that the closest airport is Montrose Regional Airport, located 34 miles from the Ouray KOA.

FAQ Updates
Are we making our own reservations at the KOA?
No. We are working closely with the KOA to make the reservation process as easy as possible for our whole group. As we’ve done in years past we will be collecting your first night’s payment as a deposit to secure your reservation. Upon arrival and check-in, you will pay the balance for the remainder of your stay and transfer the reservation into your own name. If you purchase a KOA annual membership you will receive 10% off of your stay (you can purchase upon check-in).
When do we start making reservations?
Here’s the timeline:
2/1/25: We will publish detailed information about available types of accomodations and the quantity of each. Please take your time to review this to figure out what works best for your family. This will be important before the next step.
3/1/25: We will begin taking your reservation requests on the website. This will be first come, first served. At that time we will request your first night’s deposit based on the accomodation you choose (costs will vary). The money will be held in an escrow account and will be used to secure everyone’s reservations with the KOA.
